We recently carried out an LED lighting upgrade for a client in Peterborough, switching twenty office panel lights for LED equivalents. This upgrade is going to save them £30 per year, per light fitting! This means that the upgrade will have paid for itself in just over a year, and possibly even sooner if energy prices keep rising. On top of this, the new lights come with a 5 year warranty and a service life expectancy of 50,000 hours (that’s around 24 years based on standard office hours!) , meaning they will keep making savings for years to come.
You don’t have to change all of your lights at once either, as pictured below, in this case the upgraded fittings were installed amongst the existing ones. You can replace them in stages and still achieve the same level of savings per fitting.
